ITA.Tea & Infusions: Italy's First National Tea Association
Founded in 2004, Italy's first tea association was established, marking the beginning of the Italy Tea & Infusions Association (AssoTè Infusi).
Today, ITA.Tea & Infusions is the leading professional association and reference organization for the tea and herbal infusions sector in Italy.
Tea Professional Association
ITA.Tea & Infusions (AssoTè Infusions) is Italy’s only professional association dedicated to tea professionals, operating within the framework of Italian Law No. 4/2013 on non-regulated professions.
The Association provides professional competence attestations to qualified members working in the tea and herbal infusions sector, certifying their professional qualifications and skills in accordance with this legal framework.

Since 2004 we change the way tea is consumed in Italy. Through the Culture and Information. Institutions, organizations, businesses have turned to us for the organization of their successful events.
Training and Education
We provide an integrated, comprehensive and progressive Tea & Herbal Infusions educational training and certification through tea classes, tea seminars, tea conferences and tea media.
National Tea Professionals Register
In accordance with Article 4 of Italian Law No. 4/2013 on non-regulated professions, ITA.Tea & Infusions (AssoTè Infusi) maintains and publishes its National Register of Tea Professionals, listing members who have obtained a professional competence attestation in accordance with this legal framework.

We focus exclusively on tea and infusions and have been the first in Italy to do so for over 22 years
Tea
Tea is derived solely and exclusively from the tender shoots of varieties of the species Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze and produced by acceptable processes for making a tea infusion suitable for consumption as a beverage.
Herbal and Fruit Infusions
HFI materials are plants or parts of plants that do not originate from the tea plant and are intended for food use by brewing with freshly boiling water. They also include blends of HFI with tea as a minor component.
